BSJA North West Tour 2009
North West’s most prestigious show jumping venues come together to deliver Show Jumping Championships at home of Grand National

Four of the most prestigious sporting venues in the North West, including Aintree International Equestrian Centre, Chester Racecourse, South View Arena, and Bolesworth Castle have come together to deliver the North West Amateur BSJA Show Jumping Championships 1.15m, with the final to be held on Sunday 2nd August 2009 at Aintree Racecourse, which will be free for spectators to watch.
This unique competition has been put together by the four leading North West competition venues in order to encourage and promote show jumping in the region and it is hoped that competitors will support this initiative.
Chester Racecourse will offer the initial opportunity to take part in this unique competition, with a qualifying class on each of the three days of their Show Friday 3rd to Sunday 5th July. A week later, Bolesworth Castle will be holding a class on each day of their annual Show on Friday 10th to Sunday 12th July, and on Saturday 18th July, South View Competition Centre will run a class during their annual 3 day ‘Summer Classic’ Advanced/Elite Show.
The last qualifier will take place on Friday 31st July and Saturday 1st August, with the Ultimate North West Finale taking place on Sunday 2nd August at Aintree.
The winning rider will receive hospitality for two at The John Smith's Grand National Meeting in the Old Weighing Room, including two seats, on Grand National Day, Saturday 10th April 2010, plus prize money of £150. The runner up will receive hospitality for two at Chester Racecourse, on either 22nd August or 26th September 2009 and a prize of £115.
