Aintree Dressage Championships 2008
Fearns Farm Aintree Dressage Championships 15th + 16th November 2008
The first year of the Aintree Dressage Championships, sponsored by 'Fearns Farm Equestrian and Country', went off in true Aintree style with juniors competing on the Saturday and seniors on Sunday.
The fantastic Aintree International Arena was used to stage the event with trade stands, commentator and mounted prize giving's, creating a memorable experience for competitors and spectators alike.
The generous sponsorship from 'Fearns farm Equestrian and Country' provided amazing prizes including rugs, numnahs and vouchers for their shop totalling £450 per class. There were also race tickets to be won provided by Aintree Racecourse for the 23rd November meeting.
If this wasn't enough, there was a points trophy to be awarded to the combination which had collected the most points throughout the season, won by a well deserving supporter of the events at Aintree – Jane Taylor riding Paddy. The Best Turned Out trophy and race tickets for Juniors went to Jess Cummings riding Kayai and the Senior section went to Melanie De Scheatzen riding Spargo H.
The feedback from the weekend has been tremendous and we thank you all for your support throughout the year and look forward to seeing everyone next year for an even bigger and better event!
We would like to extend a massive thanks to Fearns Farm Equestrian and Country for their generous support making this event very special for all competitors.

Thank you to everyone who supported the tombola and guess the name of the rabbit where all proceeds went to The Brooke Hospital for horses, donkeys and mules in Egypt, Asia and Africa. A grand total of £150 was raised over the two days – Well Done!
